Online Colleges, Universities, and Schools for Newfoundland and Labrador

Canada's easternmost province of Newfoundland and Labrador is host to a majestic natural landscape ranging from dramatic fjords to rolling farmland. With a strong British history, Newfoundlanders celebrate a number of British traditions including Guy Fawkes day, on which they light bonfires to commemorate the capture of an English traitor who tried to blow up Parliament in 1605. They also have a strong Native American / First Nation presence, with several festivals and cultural centers devoted to preserving their culture. Far enough north to be visited by icebergs, the province offers exceptional sea kayaking and water sports during the cool summers with nearly continuous daylight. In winter, one can enjoy sports, including: snowshoeing, dog sled racing, and cross-country skiing. There is also time for relaxation during long evenings, illuminated by the ethereal Northern Lights.

More than a thousand years ago, the first Europeans to set foot on American soil arrived in Newfoundland at a place that is now called L'Anse aux Meadows. At this spot ten centuries ago, a shipload of Vikings en route to Greenland was blown off course. They made the best of their situation and founded the colony of Vinland, vestiges of which survive today. The interior of Newfoundland is near-wilderness, and yet, cosmopolitan city life is just a day's drive away, in Montreal and Boston. Of course, you don't have to travel that far to find a wealth of cultural attractions. Newfoundlanders love theatre, and several regions of the province boast theatre festivals and resident theatre companies.

Many countries, including the US and Canada, accept the standard of degrees awarded by UK universities as equivalent to their own.

Geographic Restrictions
None. You do not need to be a UK resident as all our degrees are 100% online.

How it works
All University of Liverpool online Masters programmes are taught 100% via the Internet, giving career professionals access to a level of higher education that may otherwise be out of reach because of work or family responsibilities.
This accessibility is made possible because there are no fixed lecture times, the classroom is always open and there is no need to synchronise study with anyone else. In completing their assignments, students can interact with instructors and classmates whenever and wherever suits them best.
All courses are delivered online one at a time, so students can get to grips with the subject and explore it in real depth. We carefully compose each individual study group from a student body representing a wide variety of experience, so that feedback from classmates is stimulating and inspiring, bringing both specialist knowledge and fresh perspectives.
