Ontario Colleges, Universities, and Schools

Ontario has it all! When you decide to go to school in Ontario, you offer yourself an experience that includes long stretches of sandy beach, skyscraping forests, heartbreakingly beautiful lakes and rivers, and a city that is acknowledged as a world- class cultural capital.

If you enjoy the outdoors, Ontario is a favorite place for hikers, kayakers, fishers and just plain wanderers. There are miles of trails and dozens of parks and well- maintained camping sites. Birdwatchers from all over the world come to see the hundreds of species that are found in Ontario.

If you prefer less strenuous activities, you'll find Ontario ready to accommodate you. The province is proud of its cultural sights and events, and there are things to see and do throughout Ontario. However, the city of Toronto will amaze you - most of all with its museums, its music and dance, and with theatre performances ranging from high- quality local productions to touring versions of the latest Broadway shows.

Regardless of your chosen field of study, there is a lot to learn from the native tribal -, or first nation, - people of Ontario. The province is proud of its aboriginal heritage and has done a lot to preserve the spirit and flavor of it's early residents. There are native villages that welcome visitors, and numerous open gatherings or pow wows held by the Cree, Monsonee, Iroquois and other native tribes.

When you go to school in Ontario, Canada, you can be sure you'll never run out of things to do.
